A nutritional program
Many children and adults in these two sections suffer from malnutrition. The reasons for the prevalence of this problem are clear. These communities are very poor. There are very few resources available. There is a scarcity of fresh products, grain, crops, and dairy. Haiti Relief understands the long term implications of malnutrition, and wants to provide these villages with a “food bank” program where families can get some minimal amount of food to sustain them during the week.
