A basic system of transportation
Getting to these rural sections by car is a tremendous challenge. Even the strongest 4 x 4 Jeeps have a hard time traveling on the current roads. In order to have any project there, the roads will need to be fixed. Because of the current lack of access, Haiti relief plans to commence work on the construction of a 16-kilometer road, and provide these villages with a rudimentary system of transportation that will allow services and equipments to reach the affected areas. Furthermore, Haiti Relief also plans to provide these two villages with emergency vehicles that will allow them to actually access the services it will be providing.
